Bangalore to Kerala by road: The popular road route is Bangalore - Salem via Krishnagiri ( NH 7) and Salem - to Kerala via Coimbatore (NH 47) . Once in Kerala you can either continue by NH 47 , if you are traveling towards south of Kerala , or take NH17 to travel to north of Kerala. Of course there are many important roads too in Kerala other than NH 17 and NH 47.
Another option is to travel to Mysore from Bangalore. From Mysore there are a few popular routes to Kerala. A number of KSRTC bus services from Bangalore to Kerala towns operate in this route.
NH 209 - NH47 combination too is an option. Firts take NH 209 from Bangalore up to Coimbatore and then to Kerala by NH 47.
